Originating in 1898, the Caperdonich Distillery was closed in 2001 and demolished in 2011; with its light, floral and creamy distillate forever lost to the Speyside region.
Our bottling of this rare single malt, fully matured in a Bourbon barrel, is the jewel in the crown of this outrun. Distilled on the 27th of August 1997 and bottled at cask strength on the 24th of July 2020; this amber hued dram is a piece of whisky history that would grace the shelves of any collector.

Originally established in 1810 and revived in 1963; the Isle of Jura distillery is known for producing a light, floral distillate with a hint of smoke and honey, not typical to the region.
We were incredibly fortunate to acquire a rare 28-year-old Bourbon matured cask in April of this year, just in the nick of time considering its lower ABV. Distilled on the 20th of March 1992 and bottled at cask strength on the 23rd of April; this amber coloured dram is a wonderful alternative west coast island style whisky.
On the Nose
Spring gorse bushes, Madeira cake and fresh cut grass
On the Palate
Poached pears and apple turnover. Yoghurt coated raisins and a chocolate biscuit character
Finish
Medium and warming with notes of tobacco, developing to mint.

With origins dating back to 1947; the Tullibardine Distillery made a triumphant return to the Highlands from its mothballed status in 2003. In 2013, we were delighted to acquire a traditional Bourbon cask distilled on the 13th of April 2006; and decided that the lightly floral and oily nature of the distillate was perfectly suited to an extended finish in a rum cask. Seven years on, we are incredibly happy with the resulting goldenrod coloured whisky, which was bottled at cask strength on the 29th of May 2020.
On the Nose
Dessert notes of pineapple tart, custard creams and brown sugar sweetness. Floral notes of lilac and rose.
On the Palate
Soft and gentle at first with developing sweet and spicy notes of white chocolate and cinnamon.
Finish
Long and satisfying with a walnut whip and brandy cream character, with developing buttery toast.

When Bruichladdich was founded in 1881 by the Harvey Brothers it was a state-of-the-art distillery, built to produce whisky on Islay at an industrial level. Even now the distillery retains some its Victorian innovations, like using an open mash tun. This release is from a uniquely rare run at the distillery which is heavily peated, between Port Charlotte and Octomore.
This Islay single malt was distilled on the 01/09/2009 and bottled on the 12/02/2020 at cask strength, 63%
Matured for 10 years in a first-fill, ex-Bourbon barrel which provides an excellent opportunity for the distillate to be clearly expressed.
The tasting revealed a strong peat-reek with sea shells, spice and stone-fruit, apricot.
